COVID-19: How is my AAT appeal affected?
From 25 March 2020 the AAT has suspended in person hearings indefinitely. Where suitable, hearings will be conducted by telephone, including taking evidence from witnesses and using an interpreter where required. The AAT will also be prioritising appeals where a positive decision can be made on the papers.
If you have an appeal at the AAT you should ensure that all relevant and updated information has been provided. If you believe that a positive decision can be made based on the information you have provided you should contact the AAT to request a decision on the papers. If you would like an opinion about your matter please contact us for assistance.
